Job summary

Arlo Solutions is seeking a Strategic Communications Specialist to plan and execute communications and marketing for government events, including Acquisition Workforce Training Conference and Industry Day for HHS ASFR/OA. Remote work with a focus on federal audiences and content development.

The role emphasizes messaging strategy, drafting Government-approved content, and driving registration and engagement across both government and industry partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
• 3+ years of strategic communications, marketing, or public affairs, preferably supporting events.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with ability to adapt tone for executive, Federal, and industry audiences.
• Experience managing email campaigns and digital communications through event or marketing platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables across a review and approval process.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to complete an HHS background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Develop event communications plans and calendars within 30 days of award.
• Align messaging with event milestones and Government priorities.
• Draft invitations, registrations, reminders, speaker communications, and post‑event messaging for Government approval.
• Develop fact sheets, talking points, event guides, social content, and web-ready content.
• Prepare comprehensive digital event guides for in-person and virtual attendees.
• Support speaker bios, briefing materials, and presentation content.
• Build and manage email campaigns and branded site content through the event platform.
• Coordinate outreach to attendees, speakers, industry partners, and small-business audiences.
• Draft post‑event communications and surveys.
• Ensure Government approval prior to release and conduct quality edits.
• Ensure Section 508 accessibility compliance.
