Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• PA (or domiciled state) Property & Casualty License (12 months to obtain).
• 3–5 years of Package (all-lines) P&C underwriting with carrier authority.
• Ability to interact with carriers, clients, and Venture team.
• Organized, independent, self-disciplined, and creative self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite comprehensive regional new and renewal business using analysis and risk assessment techniques.
• Meet premium/revenue production goals while maintaining profitability.
• Review and approve endorsements and review MVRs, loss notifications, loss runs, inspections, reports and audits.
• Resolve issues identified in underwriting quality control and carrier file audits within set timeframes.
• Develop relationships with carriers and clients, partnering with Sales/Marketing to improve binding opportunities.
• Identify growth opportunities and assist in annual business planning for the region.
• Adhere to Venture Programs' service standards and participate in in-house training.
