Job summary

Yourcaptive is seeking a Senior Programs Underwriter to join our Innovative Program Solutions team in West Des Moines, IA. In this role, you will develop and negotiate pricing and coverage terms for new and renewal business while collaborating with agents and carriers.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant insurance experience and a high school diploma; a college degree is preferred. This position offers a chance to shape underwriting guidelines and improve operational processes within the insurance sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of underwriting or relevant insurance experience.
• Active state specific Property Casualty Insurance agent’s license required or the ability to acquire license within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and negotiate price, coverage terms and conditions for all new and renewal business.
• Collaborate with agents and brokers.
• Conduct regular program reviews and audits.
