Job summary

PayIt is seeking an experienced program manager to lead end-to-end technology implementations for public-sector clients in the United States. You will own the program plan, master schedule, governance, and testing from kickoff through go-live and steady-state operations, coordinating internal teams, client stakeholders, and partners.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of program or project management experience, including multi-year public-sector implementations.
• Experience delivering payments or financial technology programs (payments processing, data, settlement, reconciliation).
• Experience coordinating delivery across multiple teams or vendors, including integration and acceptance testing.
• Proficiency with scheduling and work-tracking tools; familiarity with data security/privacy requirements (PCI DSS, PII).
• Clear writing for formal deliverables and comfort presenting to executives.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and identity verification.

Responsibilities

• Own the program plan, schedule, governance, deliverables, and testing from kickoff through go-live and steady-state operations.
• Baseline and maintain the integrated schedule and manage changes through formal approvals.
• Produce recurring status reports and run client governance cadences.
• Drive approval of program plans (security, continuity, testing, data migration) and SOPs.
• Lead testing lifecycle from integration to user acceptance and sign-off; manage defects.
• Maintain release, change, and maintenance processes post go-live and communicate planned work.
• Deliver service-level reporting, root-cause analysis for incidents, and track corrective actions.
• Support client reviews and scope new client-requested work.
