Job summary

NYC Public Schools is seeking a Program Manager, Community Schools, to drive policy decisions around fiscal management and program design for a cohort of Community Schools in New York City.

Reporting to the Senior Executive Director of the Office of Community Schools, you will work with principals, attendance, and partner organizations to ensure fidelity to the community school framework and effective implementation of services and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education, educational leadership, public policy or related field with relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with progressive responsibility in education administration or related area.
• High school diploma with substantial professional experience in education administration or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and management of partnerships with community-based organizations in a cohort of NYC Community Schools.
• Provide project management support to School Directors and CBO liaisons; conduct regular school visits for quality programming and attendance.
• Coordinate with City partner organizations that fund program components and share resources across divisions.
• Develop and implement policies to support mentoring and family engagement; ensure compliance with grant requirements.
• Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders; monitor performance and evaluation results.
