Paychex Deutschland GmbH is seeking a program planning professional to define project concepts and align initiatives across the company. You will act as a consultant to initiative owners and collaborate with Product Management, Operations, and IT to size, scope, and approve key projects.

The role emphasizes cross-functional coordination, risk assessment, and ensuring a smooth transition from concept to implementation within a dynamic, pay-transparency driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Understands business objectives and aligns projects with strategy.
• Explains complex issues and cross-program impacts.
• Generates and disseminates information to guide decisions and scheduling.
• Oversees the concept definition stage of the Paychex project process.
• Supports Product Management and Operations in identifying design direction.
• Assesses high-level impacts and risks of initiatives.
• Coordinates with IT to size initiatives and complete IT assessment.
• Manages cross-program impacts and ensures no conflicts with existing projects.
• Creates project definitions and business cases for approvals.
• Facilitates pre-kickoff management meetings and defines process expectations.
• Works with Project Manager to ensure smooth transitions.
• Identifies vendor solutions and negotiates statements of work and contracts.
• Implements improvements to the concept definition process.
