Job summary

Paychex is redefining workforce management with payroll, HR, benefits, and advisory services in a unified HCM platform. This role focuses on defining project concepts, aligning initiatives with business strategy, and guiding decisions across multiple teams to ensure successful outcomes.

The role collaborates with Product Management, Operations, IT, and vendors to size initiatives, assess risks, and secure approvals. A background in program management or projects is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understands business objectives and aligns projects with strategy.
• Explains complex issues and cross-program impacts.
• Gathers and disseminates information to inform decisions and prioritization.
• Oversees the concept definition stage of the Paychex project process.
• Supports Product Management and Operations in early design directions.
• Assesses high level impacts/risks of initiatives.
• Coordinates with IT to size initiatives and obtain IT assessments.
• Manages cross-program impact and ensures no conflicts with existing projects.
• Creates project definitions and helps develop business cases for approvals.
• Facilitates pre-kickoff meetings and ensures process alignment and expectations.
• Partners with PMO to ensure smooth transitions and vendor solution assessments.

Education

Bachelor's Degree preferred
