Actalent is seeking a Production Planner to develop and manage detailed production schedules, coordinate material flow, and monitor work in progress to ensure timely production. The role requires strong planning, inventory management, and cross-functional communication skills within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include preparing work orders, coordinating with QA, purchasing, and engineering, and ensuring resources are available to meet master production schedules.

Formación

• Experience in production planning and scheduling in manufacturing.
• Strong material management understanding including supply and demand planning.
• Knowledge of inventory practices and management.
• Ability to coordinate with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control and traffic.
• Proficiency with MS Office for scheduling, reporting, and data analysis.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Attention to detail in work orders and movement documentation.
• Analytical skills to identify and solve production issues.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and control detailed production schedules to meet requirements.
• Coordinate material requirements for timely flow into production.
• Monitor status of work in progress, material availability, and potential problems.
• Ensure personnel, equipment, and services are scheduled and available for activities.
• Schedule equipment and personnel aligned with master production schedule and shop load.
• Confirm material supply and demand for current and future needs.
• Prepare work orders and purchase requests based on schedule and inventory.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activities with QA, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic.
• Schedule and expedite movement of parts via move orders, stock transfers, and shipping requests.
• Support inventory management by aligning production plans with inventory levels and replenishment.

4 years related exempt experience (in lieu)

8 years non-related exempt experience (in lieu)
