Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Production Planner to create and maintain a reliable production schedule by translating forecasts, orders, and backlog into detailed work orders. You will sequence jobs to minimize downtime, coordinate with operations, and ensure accurate ERP data, including SAGE 100, while supporting material planning and reporting.

You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, interfacing with multiple departments to align material availability, capacity, and delivery

Qualifications

• 2+ years in production planning, scheduling, or related field.
• Experience with ERP/MRP in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in SAGE 100 for scheduling, inventory, data entry.
• Strong Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of operations and material flow in manufacturing.
• Experience in inventory tracking and cycle counts.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a detailed production schedule aligned with demand and capacity.
• Convert forecasts and orders into accurate work orders for manufacturing teams.
• Sequence jobs to minimize downtime and changeovers.
• Coordinate with operations, inventory, and purchasing to align plans with material availability.
• Maintain scheduling data in ERP, including SAGE 100.
• Plan downtime and maintenance to reduce impact on output.
• Generate reports on production performance and inventory status.
• Communicate schedule changes across departments.
• Support materials logistics and procurement activities.
