Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking a Production Planner to support planning and scheduling activities, aligning materials, resources, and manufacturing orders with demand. This role partners with Procurement, Inventory Control, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to maintain readiness and timely schedules.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in production planning, ERP/MRP experience, MRP knowledge, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and advanced Excel skills; strong communication and cross-functional

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, manufacturing operations, or related fields
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems
• Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning concepts
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis
• Proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining production schedules based on demand forecasts, customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity
• Monitor work orders and production progress to ensure adherence to planned schedules
• Review material shortages and coordinate with stakeholders to minimize production disruptions
• Create, release, and maintain manufacturing work orders within the ERP system
• Support production readiness by ensuring materials, work orders, and planning data are accurate and available
• Update and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), routing information, and planning parameters
• Track work order status, schedule attainment, production progress, material consumption, and output accuracyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve planning and scheduling issues
• Generate and maintain production, inventory, and planning reports
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of manufacturing and program needs
