Job summary

Engineering Resource Group, Inc. is seeking a Production Planner to support the build of ruggedized electronic assemblies for defense programs.

You will maintain the master shipping schedule and the active material shortage list, expediting shortages in collaboration with purchasing and stockroom. The role serves as the coordination hub between production planning, purchasing, receiving and the production floor, and supports engineering changes to open work orders.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in engineering document control or production planning in manufacturing.
• Experience expediting material shortages across purchasing, stockroom and receiving.
• Experience releasing and revising controlled documents against open work orders.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality system.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the master shipping schedule and the active material shortage list.
• Coordinate between stockroom and purchasing to identify, expedite and clear material shortages.
• Publish the daily production and shipping status synopsis.
• Set receiving and incoming inspection priorities against current production demand.
• Serve as the coordination point between production planning, purchasing, receiving and the production floor.
• Support implementation of engineering change notices and engineering change requests against open work orders.
• Post revisions to planning records, release controlled documents and notify affected departments.
• Generate status reports and charts for schedule analysis and follow-up.
