Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Production Planner to develop and maintain a structured production schedule that aligns with customer demand and capacity. You will partner with Operations and cross-functional teams to drive performance improvements and maximize machine efficiency while supporting inventory targets.

The role requires 2–3 years in planning or coordination, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or materials coordination preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient PC and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a well-structured production schedule aligned with customer demand and available capacity.
• Partner with Operations and cross-functional teams to identify and drive performance improvements.
• Maximize machine efficiency while supporting budgeted inventory targets.
• Monitor inventory levels to properly cycle molds and printers with Materials and Operations.
• Coordinate with approved subcontractors to utilize outsourcing when required.
• Collaborate with Customer Service to address order-related issues and priority changes.
• Provide management with capacity, utilization, and constraint visibility for assigned work centers.
• Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and departmental health standards.
• Maintain accuracy of JDE work centers and scheduling parameters.
