Job summary

Amcor is hiring a Production Scheduler to create and maintain an optimized production plan that meets customer ship dates while maximizing manufacturing efficiency. This role prioritizes molds, machines, and work centers to support safe, cost‑effective operations.

Responsibilities include analyzing demand, capacity, and inventory, adjusting schedules with cross‑functional teams, and reporting on KPIs such as OTIF and plant utilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• 2–3 years of materials planning and inventory management or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (JDE preferred).
• Strong analytical and planning capability with attention to data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute a production schedule to meet customer ship dates.
• Prioritize molds, machines, and work orders to maximize efficiency.
• Update and publish online production schedules daily.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, Manufacturing, Quality and Shipping to improve performance.
• Monitor KPIs like OTIF, DOH, and plant utilization and adjust plans as needed.
