Job summary

Amcor seeks a Production Planning role to manage schedules, forecast demand, and optimize inventory across a high-volume manufacturing site. You will drive planning improvements, coordinate with customer service, and ensure timely information for meeting customer requirements.

The position emphasizes data analysis, Excel proficiency, and collaboration with manufacturing and maintenance teams to improve efficiency and meet ISO/SQF and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree in business, supply chain management or related field.
• Prefer 2+ years experience in Demand Planning/Supply Chain management in complex, high volume manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience with MRP systems such as JD Edwards.
• Excellent oral and written skills.
• Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks.
• Strong analytical and math skills with proven ability to apply that knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Use MRP System to forecast production demand, manage customer forecast, safety stock requirements, and maintain desired inventory levels.
• Monitor the schedule and plan production on specific molds and machines.
• Generate reports and analyze data to ensure optimal supply chain flow.
• Process and expedite orders and communicate daily with Customer Service Representatives.
