Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a production planning professional to manage the production schedule and drive improvements in planning and operations. You will analyze forecasts, maintain inventory targets, and ensure customer requirements are met while optimizing site resources for efficiency.

Responsibilities include forecasting with the MRP system, planning production on specific molds, generating data reports, expediting orders, and collaborating with manufacturing, maintenance and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Demand Planning/Supply Chain management in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with MRP systems such as JD Edwards.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Use MRP System to forecast production demand and manage customer forecasts, safety stock and inventory levels.
• Monitor schedule and plan production on molds and machines.
• Generate reports and analyze data to optimize supply chain flow.
• Process and expedite orders; communicate with Customer Service daily about concerns.
• Monitor slow-moving inventory and obsolescence; drive improvements to reduce obsolescence.
• Balance customer demand with manufacturing and supplier capabilities; adjust forecasts as needed.
• Perform month-end activities and prioritize rework as required.
• Support ISO requirements and participate in weekly scheduling calls.
