Amcor is seeking an Operation Planning Manager to lead all planning functions for a small facility in Greenville, SC. You will coordinate raw materials, production scheduling, inventory, and shipping/receiving to meet customer service expectations, with a focus on optimizing capacity and minimizing costs.

The role requires supervisory experience in manufacturing, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and experience with production planning or operations management.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in business, operations management or related field.
• APICS and/or operations and supply chain certification preferred.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years experience in production planning/manufacturing support/operations management.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or willingness to obtain.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP/ERP.

Mansioni

• Interface with customer service and sales to prioritize demand and capacity.
• Schedule orders to meet ship dates and communicate delays.
• Review backlog and balance workload with Production; set priorities.
• Maintain inventory levels to ensure on-time delivery while reducing carrying costs.
• Enter work orders into the scheduling system (JDE).
• Monitor progress of key orders and identify delays.
• Coordinate with maintenance for preventive maintenance planning.
• Own planning issues.
