Zusammenfassung

ITW is seeking a Plant Scheduler to create and optimize the production schedule, ensuring customer orders are met on time while maximizing inventory and capacity efficiency. The role coordinates demand, materials, capacity, and shop floor activities, and drives continuous improvement in planning processes.

You will report to the Production/Strategic Sourcing/Materials Manager and work with cross-functional teams to resolve disruptions and keep production on track.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in business or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a business setting.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and data entry accuracy.

Aufgaben

• Create and maintain short and medium-term production schedules (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, engineering, quality, maintenance and warehouse to ensure material availability and capacity alignment.
• Monitor shop floor progress vs. schedule and resolve delays, bottlenecks and shortages.
• Prioritize production to optimize throughput and meet customer commitments.
• Maintain and update Bills of Material (BOM), routings, and planning data in the ERP system.
• Communicate schedule changes and production status to stakeholders.
• Prepare and distribute daily/weekly production reports.
