Job summary

OPW seeks a Production Planner to align customer demand with manufacturing capacity across operations. You will develop schedules, monitor performance and work with Sales, Production, Ops and Customer Service to optimize inventory and resources. Strong MRP/ERP and Excel skills are essential.

The role supports new product introductions, engineering changes and phase-outs, maintaining inventory accuracy and continuous improvement in planning processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in production planning, scheduling or supply chain planning in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP and capacity planning.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute production schedules to balance demand, capacity and materials.
• Create weekly/daily plans for value streams and monitor performance.
• Identify risks, recover schedules, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, Customer Service and Operations.
• Manage MRP messages and maintain inventory levels including safety stock.
