Job summary

Wells Vehicle Electronics is seeking a Production Planner to develop and execute production schedules that align with customer demand and capacity. You will coordinate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, and Quality to ensure timely delivery and optimal resource usage.

You will translate forecasts into actionable production plans, manage ERP-released orders, and monitor inventory levels while driving continuous improvement in throughput and delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in operations, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with multi-priority management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet customer commitments.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate production schedules to optimize throughput.
• Translate demand, forecasts and backlog into executable plans.
• Release and manage production orders in the ERP system.
• Monitor inventory, WIP, and capacity to support delivery performance.
• Lead planning meetings and communicate priorities and risks to stakeholders.
