Job summary

Forensics Source in Florida is seeking a Production Planner to own scheduling for assigned production areas, balancing demand, capacity, and inventory to support on-time delivery and efficient resource use.

You will review demand, confirm material readiness with purchasing, convert plans to orders, and maintain line-by-line schedules while monitoring daily output and coordinating across functions to address shortages and delays.

Qualifications

• Three years of production planning or scheduling in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP to analyze demand, supply, inventory, and orders.
• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables and lookups.
• Knowledge of capacity planning, BOMs, routings, lead times, and planning parameters.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Owns production schedules by line to ensure on-time delivery.
• Validate demand and material readiness with purchasing and warehouse.
• Convert planned orders to production orders and release them.
• Maintain schedules and adjust sequencing based on due dates and capacity.
• Monitor daily output and identify delays or deviations.
• Coordinate expediting and priority changes with production and shipping.
