Job summary
Saft is seeking a Planner in the Jacksonville, FL area to drive deadline-driven production planning and enhance forecast accuracy. You will coordinate workflows and schedules across departments to meet production targets and ensure timely delivery of quality products.
The role emphasizes continuous improvement and collaboration with Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Accounting to resolve issues. Ideal candidates have an associate degree in a related field, at least 2 years of planning
Qualifications
- Requires ability to forecast and plan production schedules.
- Experience coordinating with multiple teams to expedite material flow.
- Understanding of ERP and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with sales forecasting, lead times, and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain production, work, and shipment schedules.
- Prioritize job orders for production optimization.
- Follow up with teams to expedite flow of materials and documents.
- Interact with shop floor management to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Confer with supervisors to determine progress and completion dates.
