Columbus McKinnon is seeking a Production Planner to plan production and optimize component inventories to meet service levels. Responsibilities include releasing work orders, expediting builds, and coordinating with Plant Manager, Procurement, and Sales to ensure timely delivery.

Daily monitoring of the MPS and production reports is required to maintain efficiency and customer satisfaction. The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of equivalent experience, with strong MRP/ERP, MS

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to execute across MRP/ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
• Ability to analyze situations and drive RCCA activity.
• Strong project management and multitasking skills.

Mansioni

• Plan workflow for each department and operation to maintain/improve manufacturing sequences and lead times using MPS.
• Release manufacturing work orders and assign to the production floor.
• Coordinate/expedite manufacturing builds to meet production plans and timely shipment to customers.
• Partner with Plant Manager, Value Stream Leaders, Procurement, and Sales to meet customer needs.
• Monitor the production plan daily to ensure alignment with the MPS and service goals.
• Run daily production reports to review open sales orders, backlog, shortages, and issues.
• Interact with procurement to expedite purchased goods.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
