Columbus McKinnon Corporation is seeking a Production Planner to manage workflow and inventory for multiple departments, ensuring alignment with the Master Production Schedule (MPS). The role releases work orders, coordinates builds, and collaborates with Plant Manager, Procurement, and Sales to meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus strong skills in ERP systems and MS Office.

Competenze

• Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
• Ability to analyze situations and drive RCCA activity.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint; strong email/internet skills.
• Demonstrates friendly, service-minded attitude to customers.
• Willingness to adapt to change and take on new responsibilities.

Mansioni

• Plan workflow for departments and operations to maintain/improve manufacturing sequences and lead times using the Plant Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Release manufacturing work orders and assign to the production floor.
• Coordinate/expedite builds to ensure production plans are achieved and shipments to customers are timely.
• Partner with the Plant Manager, Value Stream Leaders, Procurement, and Sales to meet customer needs.
• Monitor the production plan daily to support MPS and service goals, inventory levels, and capacity objectives.
• Run daily production reports to review open sales orders, monitor backlog, and identify shortages or issues.
• Interact with procurement to expedite purchased goods.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
