Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking a Production Planner to ensure the master production schedule supports customer service, inventory goals, and configuration management. You will plan and control schedules, and coordinate material requirements to maintain a smooth production flow.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance to optimize delivery performance and inventory turns.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field with 6+ years of experience.
• APICS certificate is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing resource planning and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Determines production priorities by studying master production schedule and customer requirements.
• Acts as primary customer contact for production status, schedule changes, and shipping information; adjusts master schedule as needed.
• Identifies raw material and component requirements; ensures accurate item master file and BOM.
• Advises management on work-in-progress status, material availability, and production issues to meet objectives.
• Coordinates cross-functional activities to ensure smooth material flow and accurate status updates.
