Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an experienced Planning/Materials role in Woburn, MA to ensure the master production schedule aligns with division objectives. You will plan, prepare, issue, and control schedules and material requirements to meet production and customer needs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, and Logistics, with a focus on continuous improvement, inventory strategies, and accurate BOM control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Operations or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience.
• APICS certificate preferred.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and expedite orders and/or stock transfers.
• Primary contact for production status, schedule changes, and shipping information.
• Identify material requirements and maintain item master file and BOM.
• Advise on work in progress, material availability, and production issues.
• Lead continuous improvement in planning processes, including inventory strategies and Kaizen events.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure smooth material flow.
• Lead annual physical inventory for the location.
• Manage material movement between internal and external processing.
