Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Production Planner in Irvine, CA to manage master production schedule and material requirements, ensuring timely flow of approved materials to meet production needs.

You will advise management on WIP status, material availability, and supplier coordination; prepare work orders and coordinate movements. Requires Bachelor’s in Business or related field, CPIM or exams, 2+ years of related experience, and strong knowledge of MRP concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field and CPIM basics exam completed, or CPIM exams passed.
• 2+ years of related experience in planning or production control.
• Knowledge of manufacturing resource planning theories and practice with ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to apply continuous improvement methods to planning processes and comply with policies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, issue, and control moderately complex production schedules to meet master production schedule.
• Advise management on WIP status, material availability, and potential production problems.
• Prepare work orders or purchase requests to support schedule and coordinate material movements.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure smooth flow of materials and accurate status information.
• Maintain configuration control on open orders and data files; apply continuous improvement techniques.
