Job summary

Parker Aerospace, a division of Parker Hannifin, seeks a Planner Specialist to ensure the master production schedule aligns with customer service targets at the Irvine, CA facility. This on-site role requires coordinating material requirements and production plans to meet schedules while maintaining configuration accuracy.

The ideal candidate will bring CPIM certification, a six-plus year background in supply chain planning, and experience with MRP systems in aerospace manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (supply chain focus).
• CPIM certification is required.
• MRP systems and aerospace manufacturing experience are desirable.
• Knowledge of MRP theories and industry practices.
• Ability to apply continuous improvement methods to planning functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Master Production Schedule for the customer/value stream and establish all supply plans.
• Identify supply gaps affecting MPS and coordinate with procurement to recover gaps.
• Coordinate with Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Inventory Control, Shipping/Receiving, and Contract Administration to ensure material flow.
• Manage the item master, BOM, revision changes, and system integrity for part control.
• Monitor KPIs related to DSI, LISC, Sales and other supply chain metrics.
• Apply Lean/Kaizen methods to internal processes and ensure policy compliance.
