Job summary

HLBMA LLC is seeking a Production Control Specialist II to oversee the execution, monitoring, and control of manufacturing operations across Electrode, Assembly, Formation, and Aging processes in Savannah, GA. You will manage work orders in SAP, track yield and KPIs, and partner with Planning, Quality, and Engineering to ensure timely production and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Experience in high-volume manufacturing and production control.
Proficiency with ERP/MES systems and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Monitor daily production execution against plans; analyze plan vs. actual results.
Coordinate schedule adjustments due to downtime, material shortages, or quality issues.
Identify bottlenecks and capacity constraints across processes; support corrective actions.
Track WIP movement and material flow; resolve issues with Materials and Production teams.
Create and close production work orders in SAP or similar systems; ensure accuracy.
Review transactions for discrepancies affecting production and inventory; coordinate resolution.
Monitor inventory accuracy; lead monthly physical inventories and cycle counts.
Reconcile inventory discrepancies; perform root-ccause analysis; implement corrective actions.
Maintain production control records and documentation.
Analyze production yield and KPIs by process and reporting period.
Identify performance trends; collaborate with Quality and Engineering on investigations.
Prepare and distribute daily/weekly/monthly production and inventory reports for stakeholders.
Collaborate with Planning, Production, Quality, Process Engineering, Materials, and Logistics to resolve issues.
Participate in daily/weekly production meetings to review performance and actions.
Communicate production status and risks to stakeholders including local/global teams.
Identify opportunities to improve control processes and standardize procedures.
Maintain attendance and confidentiality; support 5S3R standards; perform other duties.
