Job summary

Savannah Tank is seeking a Production Planning & Materials Manager to lead the master production schedule, material readiness, and manufacturing logistics in Savannah, GA. You will ensure on-time delivery by coordinating schedules, materials, and cross-functional teams, and optimize ERP/MRP processes to improve performance.

The role requires a strong background in production planning and materials management, with hands-on experience in high-mix environments, and a track record of driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 7+ years in production planning or materials management.
• Experience in high-mix, low-volume or project-based manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of fabrication drawings and bills of materials.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the master production schedule and daily work plans.
• Track performance, identify delays, coordinate recovery plans to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Maintain schedule boards, dashboards, and KPIs with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate material readiness, BOM checks, and purchasing with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee receiving, tool room, and inventory control; ensure accurate ERP entries.
• Coordinate flow of materials between U.S. and international operations; manage logistics.
• Communicate risks and schedule status to stakeholders; drive on-time completion.
