Job summary

University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a Procurement and Supply Chain Program Manager to support a wide range of purchasing activities, from MRO to construction. This role acts as a subject matter expert, partnering with staff to develop procurement strategies for best value and serves as the liaison to the Procurement Service Center.

The role is hybrid, with in-person presence a few times per month, and a typical schedule Monday–Friday during business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5 years of relevant procurement/financial management experience.
• Knowledge of procurement rules and regulations in large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to staff on procurement strategies and requisition processing in Marketplace.
• Review and support staff in preparing purchase requisitions with required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with state and university regulations and rules.
• Oversee construction supply chain to identify and develop commodity strategies.
• Conduct periodic assessments of procurement processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain KPIs and benchmarking for procurement activities.
• Prepare training documents on procurement rules and standard processes.
