Job summary

University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a Procurement and Supply Chain Program Manager in Boulder. This role supports purchasing from MRO to construction, acting as the departmental SME and liaison to the Procurement Service Center.

The position collaborates with staff to identify, develop and implement procurement strategies that deliver best value and compliance with regulations. Hybrid work options and a typical Monday–Friday schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field required; substitution allowed on a year-for-year basis.
• 5 years of relevant industry experience in procurement, financial management, auditing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely guidance to staff related to procurement strategies and support for processing requisitions.
• Coordinate activities with the Procurement Service Center and ensure documentation is attached.
• Review requisitions to ensure compliance with state and university regulations.
• Oversee the construction supply chain and develop commodity strategies.
• Conduct periodic assessments of procurement processes to find improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain KPIs and benchmarking for procurement activities.
• Prepare training documents for staff regarding procurement rules and processes.
• Maintain current knowledge of purchasing rules and regulations.
