Job summary

University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a Procurement and Supply Chain Program Manager to support a wide range of purchasing activities from MRO to construction. The role acts as a subject matter expert and main liaison to the Procurement Service Center.

The position offers a hybrid work modality with some in-person requirements and a schedule Monday–Friday during regular business hours. Salary ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 depending on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a closely related field.
• 5 years of relevant industry experience in procurement, financial management, auditing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to staff related to procurement strategies and support for processing requisitions.
• Coordinate with the Procurement Service Center on behalf of I&R divisions.
• Review and support staff in preparing purchase requisitions with necessary documentation.
• Ensure compliance with state and university regulations.
• Oversee the construction supply chain to identify and develop effective commodity strategies.
• Conduct periodic assessments to identify procurement process improvements.
• Develop and maintain KPIs and benchmarking for procurement activities.
• Prepare training documents for staff on procurement rules and processes.
• Maintain current knowledge of purchasing rules and regulations.
