Job summary

RES is seeking a Project Procurement Manager to lead procurement on complex projects from Denver, CO. You will act as the primary contact for project and operations teams, develop policy and strategy, and drive on-time delivery while maintaining quality and cost targets.

The role includes mentoring procurement teammates, coordinating with suppliers, and reporting progress to leadership. This hybrid position requires 3 days in-office and domestic travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years’ relevant experience in procurement.
• 5+ years’ experience managing procurement project plans.
• Ability to travel domestically 31–50%.
• Valid Driver’s license required.
• Leadership and strong communication skills.
• Experience with procurement, expediting, logistics, inspection, receiving, assets and inventory.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience managing multiple projects of varying complexity.

Responsibilities

• Functions as main point of contact to internal Project and Operations customers for Procurement.
• Define and document project-specific procurement policy and strategy.
• Establish procedures to control processes and data for procurement scope.
• Train and mentor Procurement teammates.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely submissions and deliveries.
• Expedite actions as needed and report progress.
• Evaluate schedules and progress against requirements.
• Coordinate data and issue regular reports.
• Participate in kick-off and procurement meetings to review schedules.
• Ensure logistics coordination and shipping arrangements.
• Travel to site or supplier locations as required.
• Create and execute procurement strategies aligned with business goals.
• Engage senior teams to align with objectives and project needs.
• Demonstrate leadership and report on progress.
