Job summary

Collier County is seeking a procurement professional to manage end-to-end sourcing, contracting, and vendor relations in a dynamic county-wide environment. You will review requests, develop RFPs/ITBs, and guide end-users toward best-value solutions.

Responsibilities include negotiation of contracts, monitoring performance, and resolving disputes, while ensuring compliance with county and state regulations. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Two years of related experience; four additional years if no degree.
• Fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Receives, reviews, and analyzes procurement requests and determines best value.
• Prepares solicitations, assists with technical specs and vendor evaluations.
• Organizes pre-proposal conferences and serves as liaison with vendors.
• Negotiates contracts, change orders, and ensures compliance with regulations.
• Monitors contractor performance and resolves disputes.
• Provides guidance to managers on procurement processes and policy interpretation.
• Conducts market and vendor research to enhance competition.
