Job summary

X Energy seeks a procurement professional to manage end-to-end purchasing of direct and indirect goods in Oak Ridge, TN. You will negotiate terms, manage vendor relationships, and oversee contract administration aligned with federal and company policies.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, experience with federal procurement procedures, and advancement from Level III to Level IV responsibilities. On-site work with modest travel expectations, supporting proposal efforts and procurement compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; years of experience may be substituted for education.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Level III: typically 5 years of procurement/contracts administration experience.
• Level IV: typically 10 years of procurement/contracts administration experience.
• Experience with negotiations and federal purchasing procedures; knowledge of regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue RFPs for purchases and conduct vendor selection per policies.
• Respond to requisitions with multiple vendors and perform vendor analysis.
• Identify terms for vendor agreements and manage changes as needed.
• Maintain approved vendor list and ensure EPL/Denied Parties compliance.
• Maintain procurement docs and facilitate approvals; lead/guide junior colleagues.
