Job summary

X-energy LLC is seeking a skilled procurement professional to manage end-to-end purchasing of goods and services, ensuring compliance with federal and company policies. This role handles RFQs, vendor selection, negotiations, and contract administration, while maintaining vendor lists and documentation.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and progressively responsible experience in procurement, with Level III/IV responsibilities in large-scale acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Five years of procurement/contracts administration experience (Level III).
• Ten years of procurement/contracts administration experience (Level IV).
• Experience with federal purchasing procedures.
• Experience conducting negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue RFQs for purchases and conduct vendor selection.
• Respond to purchase requisitions with multiple vendors and vendor selection analysis.
• Identify requirements, provisions, and terms for vendor agreements.
• Generate and disseminate information to stakeholders regarding purchasing status, compliance, changes, negotiations, vendor availability, and analysis.
• Review and track vendor performance and invoices for accuracy and facilitate the approval process.
• Resolve issues with customers and vendors; negotiate change orders and modifications as needed.
• Maintain approved vendor list and procurement files; ensure compliance.
• Support company proposal efforts and maintain procurement policies and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
