Job summary

X-energy in Oak Ridge, TN seeks a Subcontracts Administrator to manage contracts, NDAs, teaming and subcontracts, and to perform cost/price analysis under FAR/DEAR rules. You will interface with program managers, finance, engineering, and QA to ensure compliance and timely procurement.

The role requires three to ten years of subcontract experience across Level II–IV, U.S. citizenship, and a bachelor’s degree. Onsite work 5 days/week with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field; years of relevant experience may substitute a degree.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Experience in subcontracts/contracts administration is expected at Levels II–IV.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and negotiate standard contract agreements and documents.
• Identify contract requirements, provisions, and terms for subcontractors and vendors.
• Initiate documentation to authorize and direct work per contractual requirements.
• Generate and negotiate change orders and modifications to agreements.
• Resolve issues with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and leadership as needed.
• Disseminate information on subcontract status and compliance across the company.
• Perform due diligence for procurement requests, vet vendors, and analyze costs.
