Job summary

EY is seeking a Category Management & Sourcing Consulting Manager to lead client engagements in strategic procurement. You will guide teams, design category strategies, and drive total cost reduction across multiple spend categories. The role emphasizes AI-enabled approaches and collaboration with clients to deliver measurable value.

You will lead workshops, develop delivery plans, mentor staff, and shape innovative procurement solutions in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field.
• 5–8 years in strategic sourcing and category management, with at least 2 years in procurement consulting.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
• Experience with indirect or direct category management.
• Proven ability to shape and define solutions that drive total cost reduction.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to assess opportunities for strategic procurement improvements and deliver those enhancements.
• Lead process workshops, gather information, assess current state, and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Identify challenges in category management and recommend innovative solutions.
• Develop project plans and manage engagement execution from start to finish.
• Deliver AI-driven procurement solutions to optimize decision-making and efficiency.
• Coach junior team members and contribute to thought leadership on AI-enabled sourcing.
