Job summary

EY is seeking a Category Management & Sourcing Consulting Manager to shape client strategies in strategic procurement, assess category management capabilities, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver cost reductions and optimized sourcing. The role emphasizes AI-enabled procurement solutions and client collaboration across engagements.

You will mentor staff, drive innovative solutions, and contribute to EY’s thought leadership in procurement technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in strategic sourcing and category management with at least 2 years in procurement consulting.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a client-facing consultant, engaging with clients to assess opportunities for strategic procurement improvement.
• Lead workshops with clients to gather information, assess current state, and identify opportunities for total cost reduction.
• Develop approach and work plans; support overall program management of engagements.
• Own deliverables throughout the project lifecycle and ensure alignment with client expectations.
• Design and implement AI-driven procurement solutions to optimize decision-making and efficiency.
• Lead teams in strategic sourcing and total cost reduction efforts.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to thought leadership on AI-enabled procurement.
