EY is seeking a Category Management & Sourcing Consulting Manager to shape client strategies in strategic procurement. You will lead a team of consultants, drive cost reduction, and implement AI-driven sourcing solutions across multiple categories.

The role emphasizes client engagement, workshops, and delivering measurable procurement improvements with a focus on innovation and value creation for diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 5-8 years in strategic sourcing and category management, with ≥2 years in procurement consulting.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
• Category experience in indirect or direct category management.
• Experience shaping solutions that drive total cost reduction.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a client-facing consultant to assess opportunities for strategic procurement improvements.
• Lead process workshops with clients to gather information and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Identify challenges in category management and recommend innovative solutions.
• Develop approach/work plans and support program management of engagements.
• Own deliverables and ensure alignment with client expectations.
• Design and implement AI-driven procurement solutions.
• Develop category expertise across spend areas.
• Conduct spend and market analytics for opportunity insights.
• Lead teams in strategic sourcing and TCR efforts.
• Foster relationships with client stakeholders for successful delivery.
• Coach juniors on opportunity assessment and value delivery.
