Job summary

BEUMER Group is seeking a Sr. Procurement Specialist to lead strategic sourcing, supplier performance, and complex project procurement across North America.

The role interfaces with Engineering, Project Management, Quality, Shipping, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to align material needs with project timelines and business goals. The position focuses on cost optimization, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement, with a compensation range of $90,000.00–$115,000.00 annually, and

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in procurement, supply chain, strategic sourcing, or project procurement within a complex technical, manufacturing, or project-based environment.
• Strong understanding of sourcing, bidding, negotiation, contract administration, supplier management, and procurement governance.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Experience with identifying commercial risks, supplier constraints, contract exposures, and execution issues.

Responsibilities

• Own procurement planning and sourcing strategy for dedicated projects in partnership with Project Management and stakeholders.
• Lead bid development, supplier engagement, commercial evaluation, negotiation support, and purchasing execution.
• Lead supplier identification, qualification, and bid package development with contract support and supplier performance management.
• Drive resolution of supplier and contract-related issues, and elevate risks early to protect project continuity.
