BEUMER Group, based in Somerset, NJ, is seeking a driven Business Development Manager for Logistic Systems to expand our customer base and market presence in North America. You will blend strategy, initiative, and relationship-building to drive growth in a competitive landscape.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field, 2+ years in business development or 5+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales role within logistics, and travel up to 30–50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field; master’s or relevant certifications a plus.
• 2+ years in business development, consultative sales, or account management; or 5+ years in pre-sales or applications engineering in logistics.
• In-depth knowledge of logistics systems within distribution centers.
• Willingness to travel 30–50%.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and expand relationships within BEUMER’s existing customer base, understanding investment cycles and long‑term goals.
• Collaborate with Customer Support Sales to anticipate needs and identify opportunities for expansion or enhancement.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline by advancing opportunities through discovery, proposals, and pre‑sales coordination.
• Work with Marketing to develop outreach strategies and use CRM to track activities and performance.
