Job summary

BEUMER Group, a leading intralogistics provider, seeks a Sales Project Manager to coordinate techno-commercial activities and ensure seamless handover from sales to operations. You will work with Sales, Systems Engineering, Operations and Software/Controls to design end-to-end logistics solutions and develop compelling proposals.

You will analyze customer needs, tailor configurations, and lead pre-sales efforts while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (Master's degree preferred) with project management skills.
• 5+ years of experience in technical sales or systems engineering, with a focus on warehouse automation.
• Proven experience in leading technical projects and teams.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High computer literacy in MS Office Suite.
• Familiarity with 2D and 3D modeling like AutoCAD and SolidEdge.
• Exceptional mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong active listening skills for customer satisfaction and technical insight.
• Preferred experience with automated systems and MS Excel/VBA programming.
• Demonstrated ability to set and meet goals, work collaboratively, and care for team members.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in BEUMER products and applications.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and developments.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions to meet their needs.
• Analyze customer requirements to identify system design needs.
• Support Systems Engineering Team to design end-to-end logistics solutions, including conveyor systems, sortation systems using 2D and 3D CAD.
• Analyze logistics workflows and processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, proposing optimizations and automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead pre-sales collaboration with Sales, Systems Engineering, Operations and Software/Controls teams to design robust system solutions.
• Serve as the primary senior technical & commercial contact for customers, offering expert pre-sales and post-sales support.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful proposal development.
• Lead the hand-over process from sales to operations while maintaining the customer relationship and correct design parameters.
• Create technical and commercial presentations for the sales team.
• Ensure sales team is well supported with technical and commercial topics.
• Act as customer's representative ensuring smooth coordination and achievement of goals.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in logistics and supply chain management.
• Attend client meetings and calls providing expert technical guidance.
