LATICRETE International is seeking a Buyer to procure materials and manage inventory for our global supply chain. You will collaborate with Planning, Operations, Finance and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and optimal stock levels.

The role emphasizes MRP-driven purchasing, data accuracy, and ethical sourcing. Travel up to 10% may be required, and a 3+ year background in procurement is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Finance.
• 3+ years’ experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain roles.
• Strong understanding of MRP systems and data parameters.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex data.
• Proficiency in inventory control techniques and software.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement stocking models considering demand, lead times, logistics and supplier capabilities.
• Translate demand signals into timely purchase actions and manage purchase orders.
• Review and maintain purchasing master data and planning parameters.
• Resolve supplier issues and escalate to management as needed.
• Cultivate and maintain strong supplier relationships for reliability and quality.
• Support data collection for supplier performance tracking.
• Coordinate with Demand Planning, Operations, Finance to align purchasing with schedules.
• Provide timely status updates to enable cross-functional decision making.
