Job summary

NYCHA is seeking a Procurement Analyst to lead the Administrative Unit in purchasing goods, services, and construction, and to manage contracts for services. You will supervise staff, perform analyses, prepare key reports, and ensure contract compliance across procurement processes.

The role involves coordinating with HR on hiring, training staff on agency policies, and overseeing records and budget tracking. Knowledge of government procurement is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional procurement experience.
• Experience with government procurement processes and contract management guidance.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare procurement documents and reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Administrative Unit staff and assist with daily project management.
• Perform complex analyses and prepare reports with key tracking metrics.
• Audit documents to ensure contract compliance.
• Create procurement documents including pre-solicitation reviews and awards recommendations.
• Issue contract releases, track expenditures and report on contract usage.
• Provide training on policies, regulations, and processes; evaluate staff performance.
• Oversee records keeping, licenses, certifications, and fleet-related tasks.
• Coordinate hiring/onboarding with HR and evaluate subordinate performance.
