City of New York is seeking a Procurement Analyst for the Facilities Management Division in NYC. The role supports the Budget & Procurement Director, overseeing procurement documents, contract lifecycles, and real‑time budget monitoring.

The candidate will liaise with Legal, Finance, Operations, and MOCS to resolve procurement issues and ensure efficient execution across capital projects and routine maintenance. A strong background in purchasing and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or an associate degree with procurement experience, or a high school diploma with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and coordinating procurement documents (RFIs, RFPs, RFBs) and ensure policy compliance.
  • Monitor contract lifecycle from solicitation to closeout, perform cost analyses, and ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Maintain procurement trackers and ensure timely contract execution.
  • Process payments and verify budget allocations.
  • Monitor vendor performance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
