Job summary

Solventum is seeking a strategic Procurement Initiatives and Compliance Lead to drive cross-functional projects, ensure regulatory alignment, and strengthen sourcing controls across the organization.

The role partners with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Finance and IT to translate regulations into actionable procurement strategies, while managing reporting, risk, and change management in a remote US-based environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in procurement, supply chain, or project management in regulated industries.
• FDA/GxP compliance knowledge and ISO standards relevant to medical devices.
• Experience with ERP and procurement systems (SAP, Coupa, Ariba).
• Strong analytical and communication skills with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Procurement Compliance: translate regulations into actionable procurement deliverables.
• Compliance Reporting: document and demonstrate evidence of compliance with regulations and requirements.
• Strategic Planning & Alignment: translate business goals into procurement strategies and project plans.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Finance, IT and suppliers.
• Technology Roadmap & Enablement: contribute to procurement tech roadmap and requirement documentation.
• Make vs Buy and Source of Supply: support Make vs Buy and sourcing strategies with a focus on value and compliance.
• Communication & Change Management: provide clear updates and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Requirements Gathering & Process Design: lead collection of requirements for tools, processes, data, reporting.
