Job summary

Solventum is seeking a strategic Procurement Project Initiatives Lead to drive cross-functional procurement initiatives in a regulated medical device environment. You will shape the procurement tech roadmap, manage master data, and enable data-driven decision making across engineering, quality, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in procurement, supply chain, or project management.
• Experience in medical device, life sciences, or regulated manufacturing industries.
• Proven success leading complex cross-functional initiatives with high visibility.
• Strong understanding of sourcing systems and digital procurement platforms.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Smartsheet).
• Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies and decisions (ERP, SAP, Ariba, Excel).
• 3+ years in analytics or BI roles in procurement or supply chain.
• Knowledge of FDA/GxP compliance and ISO standards for medical device manufacturing.
• Lean manufacturing / six sigma training.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement initiatives from concept to execution.
• Translate business goals into actionable procurement strategies and plans.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Finance, and IT.
• Develop and execute the procurement technology roadmap.
• Manage master data governance and data architecture enablement.
• Communicate updates and manage stakeholder expectations across departments.
• Gather requirements and design processes for tool selection and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Define KPIs and report outcomes to leadership.
• Map current and future-state procurement workflows.
