Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Buyer, Procurement for its Tempe, AZ headquarters. This full-time onsite role supports procurement activities, sources business needs, analyzes data, publishes reports, and engages with vendors while assisting Category Managers and leadership.

You will own the PO process, manage budgets, and build vendor relationships, growing into vendor spend ownership. Must be in the Phoenix area and able to commute daily.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field or 2+ years in procurement.
• Experience with Coupa and ERP/e-procurement platforms.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to priorities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent multitasking and workload management.
• Confidence to grow to manage vendors and spend categories.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire PO procurement process to ensure efficient fulfillment.
• Maintain status of open requests and orders with regular stakeholder updates.
• Help establish, maintain, and adhere to procurement budgets.
• Review vendor performance data and contribute to vendor strategy.
• Be curious, learn, and solve problems as they arise.
• Grow into managing your vendors independently and eventually your spend category.
