Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Buyer in Tempe, AZ to manage the complete PO procurement process, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive cost efficiency across the vendor base. The role requires on-site presence at our Tempe headquarters and fluency in English.

You will review supplier performance, help set budgets, and partner with Category Managers to optimize spend. This is a full-time position offering growth in a dynamic, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field (or 2+ years procurement experience).
• Experience with Coupa, ERP systems, or e-procurement platforms.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire PO procurement process for efficient fulfillment.
• Maintain open requests and orders with regular stakeholder updates.
• Help establish and adhere to procurement budgets.
• Review vendor performance data and support vendor engagement strategy.
• Be curious, learn, and solve problems as they arise.
• Grow to manage vendors independently and later your spend category.
